A qualitative research case study has been conducted to investigate the use of augmented reality (AR) in education. The data was collected through semi-structured interviews with key stakeholders, including students, teachers, and administrators. The questions were designed to elicit information about the students' learning experiences, the teachers' teaching practices, and the administrators' support for the implementation of the AR platform.
Analysis
The data is being analyzed using a thematic analysis approach. The themes are being identified through a process of coding and interpretation. The themes will then be used to develop a narrative that describes the students' learning experiences, the teachers' teaching practices, and the administrators' support for the implementation of the augmented reality platform.
The findings of the case studies will suggest whether the implementation of the augmented reality platform has a positive impact on the students' learning. The students are being observed to see if they are more engaged in their learning and if they are able to better understand complex concepts. The teachers are also being observed to see if they find the augmented reality platform to be a valuable tool for teaching. The administrators are being observed to see if they are supportive of the implementation of the augmented reality platform and if they see it as a way to improve student learning.
Goal
The findings of each case study will suggest whether the augmented reality platform can be a valuable tool for improving student learning.
Use Cases
There are many ways to use augmented reality in education. Some of the ways to use augmented reality in education include
Creating 3D models of objects and concepts
Creating simulations of real-world events
Providing interactive learning experiences
Gamifying learning experiences
Augmented reality is a powerful tool that can be used to improve education. By using augmented reality, educators can make learning more engaging, relevant, and effective.
The Use of AR to Enhance Student Learning in Science and Math
The Joan Ganz Cooney Center
The study found that AR can be an effective tool for enhancing student learning in science and math. The students who participated in the study reported that they were more engaged in their learning and that they were able to better understand complex concepts when using AR. The teachers also reported that they found AR to be a valuable tool for teaching. They said that it allowed them to create more interactive and engaging learning experiences for their students.
The study found that AR can be an effective tool for enhancing student learning in the medical classroom.
